Sid better than Stammer

Brian Spence, Edinboro, Pa.

While Steven Stamkos has had an incredible season, Sidney Crosby is by far the greatest player in the league.

Stamkos nets half his points on the power play while Sid only takes a third of his on the man advantage.

If you put Martin St-Louis on Sid's wing, there wouldn't even be a debate.

Sid has caught and surpassed Stamkos in the points race. I didn't buy that Alex Ovechkin was better and I'm not buying that ‘Stammer’ is now.

Stamkos the best player in the world? I don't think so.

Who should the Vancouver Canucks hire as their new head coach?

"Last year we came in as maybe an underdog, quietly. Got off to the right start just because teams weren't really ready for us. But this time around that's not the case. They realize we are a good team and they're ready to go against us, right off the get-go."

- Los Angeles' Colin Fraser. The Kings have lost two in a row and are now tied 2-2 in their series against the San Jose Sharks.
