What's in a (nick)name?

Dave Roulston, St. Catharines, Ont.

Please, no more nicknames that are derivatives of a player's last name. The current hockey community has proven they are not capable of the creativity necessary to parlay anecdotal experiences into a classic hockey moniker.

Thank goodness the current industry never got their hands on No. 4 or we'd still be calling him ‘Orrzee.’
