Rangers to remember

My 10-year-old son Ben and I attended a recent Rangers game at MSG and had the pleasure of meeting color commentator and former Ranger Dave Maloney.

Even though he was busy preparing to cover the game, Dave took the time for a photo, autograph and a chat with my son.

He couldn't have been a nicer guy, asking Ben what grade he's in and if he played hockey.

If that wasn't enough, we got the same treatment from the great Vic Hadfield, who we were lucky enough to meet after the game.

He, too, posed for photos and signed autographs. Vic is a class act and even at 70 he's not someone I'd want to go into the corners against.

If the younger players coming up want to learn how to carry themselves through their careers, I can recommend at least a couple of examples.
