I noticed in your recent feature about goaltenders and the differences between facing a lot of shots and few shots (Top Stoppers Like Action, Prefer Wins, Nov. 15) that you implied Curtis Joseph couldn't "adjust" to playing on a good team that outshoots its opponent.
Do you really think that's why Detroit lost, even though ‘CuJo’ posted the best and fifth-best playoff save percentages of his career?
Or do you think it might have had something to do with Detroit scoring just 30 goals in 16 playoff games in those two seasons?
