No money? No problems

Tom Marcel, Livermore, Calif

The Nov. 1 “No Money Issue” was one of your best ever.

I was captivated by the heartwarming stories of the giving Father Les Costello, the tragedy of Rob Sutherland's loss and team support, the emotional return of Mike Modano to Detroit, the unforgettable Team Reports and even a story about my Sharks’ archenemy, George Parros...a Princeton grad running a clothing line with proceeds going to charity. All great stories.

However, maybe a follow-up "All Goon" or "Villains of Hockey" issue...I don't know if I can take all this emotional stuff!

Is Patrick Roy a good choice for coach of the Colorado Avalanche?

"We're playing the defending champs and you can tell they're not going to beat themselves. That team, just from them going all the way, you can see it over there. There's no panic…You can tell that's a machine over there and we've got to be at our best."
