Do the Oilers not realize that hockey isn't just for the guys anymore?
By bringing in scantily-clad female cheerleaders, they're basically telling all of us women who love and support the game that, hey, your money isn't needed around Edmonton.
Really? When you're trying to get the public to foot the bill on a half-billion dollar complex?
Not to mention it's the 21st century and you should be able to promote your exciting young team via better methods than half-naked women.
This entire idea is insulting to the many women who love the Oilers and hockey. Talk about making us feel unwelcome!

"We're playing the defending champs and you can tell they're not going to beat themselves. That team, just from them going all the way, you can see it over there. There's no panic…You can tell that's a machine over there and we've got to be at our best."
