Sandra Timmons, Ridgeland, Miss.
Your Nov. 1 issue moved me for two reasons. First, the beautiful story about Fr. Les Costello. He should be in the Hall of Fame. Second, finally a story about Mike Modano, one of the greatest players of all-time.
I was at Modano’s last home game in Dallas. He was so important to the fans that thousands had tears in their eyes. He built the game of hockey in Dallas.
I remain a Dallas fan, but I will watch all the Detroit games to see Mike play.
Thank you for giving these two men recognition. They highly deserve it.
