Lake Erie's Jason Bacashihua earns shutout as Monsters beat Moose 2-0

CLEVELAND - Jason Bacashihua stopped 19 shots for the shutout as the Lake Erie Monsters beat the Manitoba Moose 2-0 in American Hockey League action Sunday.

After two scoreless periods, Joel Chouinard put the Monsters (5-5-1) up by one at 13:13 in the third.

Julian Talbot added an empty-net goal with 15 seconds remaining to cap the scoring.

Goaltender Tyler Weiman made 23 saves in the losing effort for the Moose (5-4-0).
