HERSHEY, Pa. - Sheldon Souray's rough start to the season continues.
The exiled Edmonton Oilers defenceman broke his hand after getting in a fight in an American Hockey League game, the Hershey Bears confirmed to The Canadian Press on Tuesday.
The 34-year-old suffered the injury when he fought Adirondack Phantoms forward Matt Clarkson in a game on Saturday.
The team called it a minor fracture and expect Souray back in two weeks.
It's the latest setback for Souray, who was loaned to Hershey by the Oilers when they couldn't find a willing trade partner for the disgruntled blue-liner over the off-season.
Souray will make US$4.5 million a season over the next two years. He has three assists in four games with Hershey.

"We're playing the defending champs and you can tell they're not going to beat themselves. That team, just from them going all the way, you can see it over there. There's no panic…You can tell that's a machine over there and we've got to be at our best."
