Shame on Rick Rypien

Bernard Levesque, Montreal

Shame on you, Rick Rypien!

How can the league expect to sell the sport if professional players have run-ins with fans?

How could you ask players to respect each other on ice if they did not respect the consumer, the fan who paid their salaries?

I read Manny Malhotra defending his teammate and that's fine. But if I pay good money for a ticket, I would expect not to be attacked by a player, even if I told him my thoughts.

But perhaps that’s too much to expect from a guy like Rypien.

Will the Blackhawks come back from a 2-1 series deficit to win the Stanley Cup?

“I think when you’re at home the first two games, sometimes you get a little bit too comfortable at home. Then you come on the road, maybe it’s like a rude awakening…We’ve had three series to figure that out, learn it. We definitely want to be better (Monday), especially in the first game on the road.”

- Chicago's Patrick Kane. The Blackhawks are 0-3 in Game 3s this playoff.
