Shoot to thrill

Nick Kolupanowich, Baltimore, Md.

While watching the Devils and Sabres go into overtime Oct. 13, I was struck with the following idea: Let the team that has the most shots in regulation start overtime with a faceoff in the offensive zone.

If they are tied, have it at center ice.

Perhaps this would encourage more shots and lead to a little more offense?
