Los Angeles Kings extend executive Luc Robitaille's contract

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Los Angeles Kings have extended the contract of Luc Robitaille, their president of business operations.

Los Angeles announced the multi-year extension Monday for Robitaille, the highest-scoring left-winger in NHL history.

Robitaille is the Kings' career goal-scoring leader after playing 14 of his 19 NHL seasons in Los Angeles. He is in his fourth season in the Kings' front office, frequently representing the franchise in business dealings and public appearances.

The Kings also promoted Chris McGowan to chief operating officer. McGowan and Robitaille oversee the Kings' business operations staff.
