When Scott Niedermayer decided to hang up his skates this past summer the Anaheim Ducks were left without a captain.
With no shortage of leaders on the team the Ducks chose to put the ‘C’ on power forward Ryan Getzlaf.
On this edition of the THN Puck Panel, host Edward Fraser is joined by writers Ryan Kennedy and John Grigg to discuss Anaheim’s new captain and how the Ducks will fare this season.

“I think when you’re at home the first two games, sometimes you get a little bit too comfortable at home. Then you come on the road, maybe it’s like a rude awakening…We’ve had three series to figure that out, learn it. We definitely want to be better (Monday), especially in the first game on the road.”
