When Dan Ellis decided to comment on the current NFL labor dispute through his Twitter account he had no idea what he was getting himself into. Playing off a tweet by NFLer Reggie Bush, Ellis wrote, “OK so what is the sticking point with the negotiations? (the owners want the players to take an 18% pay cut)…try 24% NHL.”
But it wasn’t until he wrote, “If you lost 18% of your income would you be happy? I can honestly say that I am more stressed about money now than when I was in college,” that people started taking notice.
