This past year has been a whirlwind of activity for Taylor Hall. It started with a heart-breaking gold medal overtime loss to the U.S. at the world juniors in Saskatoon, Sask. In the spring, Hall piloted the Windsor Spitfires to their second straight Memorial Cup and in June he was taken first overall in the NHL Entry Draft in Los Angeles. And this fall the 18-year-old left winger will get his first taste of pro hockey.

Weeks before the young sniper is set to enter his first NHL training camp, THN’s Ryan Kennedy caught up with Hall to discuss the pressures of being the number one pick, his summer and much more.
