New York Rangers agree to terms with free agent forward Tim Kennedy

NEW YORK, N.Y. - The New York Rangers have agreed to terms with free agent forward Tim Kennedy.

The 24-year-old recorded 10 goals and 16 assists with 50 penalty minutes in 78 games with the Buffalo Sabres last season.

Kennedy was originally selected 181st overall by Washington in the 2005 NHL draft.

The Buffalo native played three years at Michigan State University, recording 42 goals and 63 assists in 113 regular-season games.
