Lightning C Vincent Lecavalier has knee surgery, expected to be ready for camp

TAMPA, Fla. - Tampa Bay Lightning centre Vincent Lecavalier had minor arthroscopic surgery on his left knee and is expected to recover in time for the start of training camp.

The club said the surgery was Tuesday in Tampa, and recovery is expected to take three to four weeks.

Lecavalier played 82 games last season and had 24 goals and 46 assists.

Training camp begins on Sept. 17.
