Cap is communism and that's great

Kyle Skatberg, Fort Collins, Colo.

To the fans who say the cap "promotes athletic communism": The cap is for this exact reason.

The Hawks made the mistake of trying to pay for a Stanley Cup. Lucky for them, it worked, but they definitely paid for it.

The reason we have the cap is to promote success and greatness, the Hawks just did it wrong.

The Oilers probably will enjoy many years of success because of their patience, drafting and wisely spent money.

If you want to see over-paid athletes cause a scene on the playing surface, watch baseball.

I recommend the Yankees.
