An inspiring story

Jose Dino, Vancouver

Ken Campbell's cover story in the August 2 edition of The Hockey News was truly inspiring.

Chris Stewart and Wayne Simmonds beat the odds to become NHL players with bright futures. Two things that stood out to me in Campbell's article were the undying love of the parents who stood by their kids to help them achieve their dreams and the 'guardian angels' who went above and beyond with their generosity to create an environment that helped Stewart and Simmonds overcome the obstacles.
