We’ve heard it all before: making it to the National Hockey League takes perseverance and sacrifice for all young players who want to follow their dream. But few have faced the type of adversity and hardship Wayne Simmonds and Chris Stewart have lived through on their journey to the big league.
In the August 2010 issue of The Hockey News, Ken Campbell takes an in-depth look at Wayne Simmonds’ and Chris Stewart’s tumultuous road to pro hockey. THNTV was there when Campbell sat down with Stewart and Simmonds at their summer home in Toronto.
