Does Ken Campbell have crystal ball? Because his May 10th Goalie Ga-Ga column is spot on for this off-season.
After the success of names like Mike Leighton and Antti Niemi in this year's playoffs, it is clear that goalie is not the make-or-break position it was assumed to be.
Managers seem to be taking notice as high priced names like Marty Turco and Evgeni Nabakov are passed over in favor of cheaper options like Chris Mason and Antero Niittymaki.
Nabakov was even forced to flee to the KHL because NHL teams just aren't willing to pay top dollar for an overrated position with so many viable talents out there.
