Steve Pyle, Greenacres, Fla.
I was sad to hear we lost NHL 'tough guy' Bob Probert.
During his career, it seemed like he was fighting in every game, maybe every period. You know, just another goon.
But several years ago, at a Red Wings exhibition game in Miami (before the Panthers existed), I got to meet him.
I got to shake his hand and he told me, "Thanks for coming out."
What a really nice guy.
We'll miss you, Probie.

"We're playing the defending champs and you can tell they're not going to beat themselves. That team, just from them going all the way, you can see it over there. There's no panic…You can tell that's a machine over there and we've got to be at our best."
