Have new teams wear old city jerseys

Brett Hornall, Vancouver

I read Edward Fraser's article in the most recent THN Fully Loaded magazine about how the old Hartford Whalers jerseys are still super popular and fans can again buy them online.

It gave me an idea.

What if, for a few games per year, those expansion/relocated teams such as the Carolina Hurricanes or the Phoenix Coyotes wore their old throwback Whalers or Jets jerseys?

If the league doesn't want to move the teams back to where they should be, he could at least let them fly their old colors a couple times a year.
