Vancouver Canucks close to signing free agent defenseman Dan Hamhuis

Dan Hamhuis is closing in on a long-term deal and four teams are still in the running, but the Vancouver Canucks are pushing hard and appear to be the frontrunner. The signing should be completed within the next hour or so. More to come.
