In Game 4, Briere put up another assist in 18:45 of ice time, but was again held to a single shot on goal. Finally, in a Game 5 in which the Flyers were outmatched by the Blackhawks in a 7-4 loss, Briere still managed to record two assists and a plus-1 rating in 21:00 of ice time, despite being held without a shot.
