Kudos to the sportscasters

Chris Heavenor, Surrey, B.C.

With the season winding down (and the Canucks out of the playoffs), I would like to give a big shoutout to many of the wonderful people in the game that I feel get a little short-changed.

I'm talking about all the play-by-play and color commentators of the NHL.

Day-in and day-out they do such an extraordinary job providing their fans with quality sportscasting.

We're lucky here in Vancouver to have such guys as John Shorthouse, John Garrett and Tom Larscheid to name a few.

I think it's time to show all the men and women in every city of our great league some appreciation for a job well done.

Keep up the good work!
