The Winter Classic is a great way to sell the NHL and NHL teams to viewers who are not all ready fans, but the 2011 version should not have the Penguins in it again.
Washington is a good choice, but it is time to use other teams who have not taken part. And they should throw a West Coast team in it, too.
It is time to market other players and teams that many viewers might not know are out there.
The NHL’s goal should to be to market the whole league, including the Canadian teams, but they keep sticking to the Penguins.
Enough is enough.
