Praise, don't put down, Habs fans

Patrick Duffy, Montreal

In Ken Campbell's column in the May 24 issue on Habs fans, you mention these fans get excited for no apparent reason and are totally classless.

In this day where the NHL is fighting for attendance in most of the United States, shouldn't you be praising these very fans for selling out every home game for the past number of years, as well as being some of the most passionate fans in the league?

And please forgive them for getting excited when the 19th-best team in the league beats the Presidents' Cup winners and the defending Cup champions.
