Canadiens defenceman Hal Gill returns for Game 7 against Penguins

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Canadiens defenceman Hal Gill returned for Game 7 against Pittsburgh after sitting out the previous game because of a cut on his left calf.

Gill, a member of the Penguins' Stanley Cup-winning team last season, has been used mostly against Sidney Crosby's line in the Eastern Conference semifinal series.

Gill was hurt when he collided with Penguins forward Chris Kunitz in Game 5, and Kunitz's skate grazed Gill's leg.

Canadiens defenceman Andrei Markov (knee), out since Game 1, skated earlier in the day but was not in uniform Wednesday night.
