It's obvious Alex Ovechkin has changed his game due to his recent suspensions. He's not flying all over the ice delivering the crushing hits like he used to.
It was these crushing hits that got him and the rest of the team going. I would hate to see his game be deduced to what happened to the games of Todd Bertuzzi and Eric Lindros after they changed their games (Bertuzzi due to his suspension and Lindros due to his concussions).
Come on, Alex, stop worrying about what people will think or the league will do. Just be Ovie.
