Sam Doyle, Winnipeg Man.
In March, my wife and I drove 25 hours from Winnipeg to Atlanta to see the Sens play the Thrashers and then 13 hours over to Dallas for the Sens against the Stars.
At the Atlanta game, I got to chat with Sens equipment assistant Mike Foley.
He was impressed we had traveled so far to see Ottawa play. When I saw him again two days later in Dallas, he had a team autographed Chris Neil stick for me!
The Sens lost both games, but Mr. Foley's gesture made the long drive worth every hour spent in our little car.
Thanks, Mike!
