Thoughts and prayers for the Burke family

Michael Hannigan, Middletown, N.J.

I've been a fan of hockey and your magazine for years and I have to say that the Adam Proteau’s Screen Shots column in the March 1 issue about the tragic loss of Brendan Burke was one of the most powerful stories I have ever read in the pages of your magazine.

As a father of two young sons, I can't begin to imagine what the Burke family must be feeling. I can only offer my thoughts and prayers, plus a compliment to The Hockey News for continuing to put out such a great product and how you prove that hockey is so much more than just a game.

God bless the Burke family and please keep up the great work THN.
