My son and I, who are Canadian, but living in the U.S., were thrilled with the Canadian Hockey gold.
With that in mind, we went to the Canucks-Blue Jackets game on March 2 in Columbus.
My hope was for my son to maybe meet Roberto Luongo an maybe get an autograph or picture.
Well, we met Roberto at the hotel where they were staying and he was fantastic.
He signed three or four pictures and allowed my son to have his picture with him.
It is great to know that even when some athletes are on the "top of world" they are still humble enough to make a great day for a father and son.
The greatest game in the world has a great ambassador in Roberto.
Thanks to Mr. Luongo!
