About the argument over how to get more Americans to watch the NHL, I would like to mention these recent games I watched:
Sat. Jan. 23 Toronto at Florida on CBC. Boring
Sun. Jan. 24 Pittsburgh at Philadelphia on NBC. Exciting.
Sun. Feb. 7 Ottawa at Toronto on CBC. Boring.
That same day: Pittsburgh at Washington on NBC. Fabulous.
I think NBC has done a marvelous job promoting the game with some of the top teams in the league.
Way to go NBC for providing great hockey entertainment .
