US Olympian Zach Parise misses Devils' game against Flyers with injury

NEWARK, N.J. - New Jersey and U.S. Olympic forward Zach Parise was scratched from the Devils' game against the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday night with an undisclosed upper body injury.

Parise, the team's second-leading goal scorer with 26, had not missed a game all season.

Devils defenceman Anssi Salmela was also scratched.

He suffered a concussion in Monday night's loss to the Flyers in Philadelphia.
