Leah Henry, Stratford, Ont.
Recently, Hockey Day in Canada was in Stratford.
My team and I practiced with alumni, had our picture with the Stanley Cup and met so many celebrities, but none of them were as pleasant as Ron McLean.
He shook my hand, inquired about our team’s success and wished us luck in the future.
I just wanted to thank Ron for everything he's done for hockey in Canada. It's one thing to show up and help put Stratford on the main stage, but Ron goes all the way.
He truly believes in hockey in Canada and for that, we thank you, Ron.
