Huge props to the NHL, Gary Bettman, the Bruins, Flyers and Beantown for an amazing start to 2010.
This season’s Winter Classic was the best yet.
Philly and Boston fought like juggernauts to the end. My pick for first star of the game was Flyers goalie Mike Leighton. He nearly stole the show by fending off the Bruins for 99 percent of the game.
What a "classic" ending to an incredible game.
Now if only the NHL and Bettman could make the All-Star Game this exciting every year...nah, never happen!
But we can always dream, right?

“I think when you’re at home the first two games, sometimes you get a little bit too comfortable at home. Then you come on the road, maybe it’s like a rude awakening…We’ve had three series to figure that out, learn it. We definitely want to be better (Monday), especially in the first game on the road.”
- Chicago's Patrick Kane. The Blackhawks are 0-3 in Game 3s this playoff.
