Goal and assist from Stalberg helps lift Marlies past Monsters 4-1 in AHL

TORONTO - Viktor Stalberg scored one goal and set up another to lead the Toronto Marlies past the Lake Erie Monsters 4-1 in an American Hockey League matinee Wednesday.

Troy Bodie, Alex Berry and Matt Beleskey also scored for the Marlies (9-7-1-2), who won their second in a row.

Chris Durno replied for the Monsters (7-11-0-2), scoring at 7:10 of the third period to spoil James Reimer's shutout bid.

Reimer finished with 25 saves, while Tyler Weiman stopped 24 shots for Lake Erie.
