I think the NHL needs to revamp their zero-tolerance policy on obstruction before someone gets drilled through the boards and killed.
The reason we see so many injuries are forecheckers have no obstruction and come in with a full head of steam on a defender trying to play the puck with his back turned.
Put a line from faceoff dot to dot allowing the defense partner to a least slow down the on coming forechecker.
No one wants to see all the hooking and holding we've all seen in the past, but we don't want to see a repeat of Bill Masterton, either.
