Phoenix Coyotes recall forward Kevin Porter from their AHL affiliate

GLENDALE, Ariz. - The Phoenix Coyotes recalled forward Kevin Porter from their AHL affiliate in San Antonio on Monday.

The 23-year-old Porter has four goals and nine assists in 14 games for San Antonio this season.

He was recalled from the Rampage on Oct. 16, but did not dress for an NHL game and was sent down to the minors two days later.

Porter, the 2008 Hobey Baker Award winner as a senior at Michigan, had five goals and five assists in 34 games for Phoenix as a rookie last season. He was a fourth-round pick of the Coyotes in the 2004 draft.
