NHLPA names Ouellet as interim executive director, Lee as interim general council

The shuffling of chairs at the NHLPA continues.

After yesterday’s news that Ian Penny and the union had parted ways, TheHockeyNews.com has learned Mike Ouellet, the association's chief of business affairs, has been tabbed as interim executive director until a permanent replacement is found.

Stepping into the role, on an interim basis, of general council – the position Penny held prior to being named interim executive director – is the PA's associate council Roland Lee.
