DENVER - The Colorado Avalanche have recalled forward Brian Willsie from Lake Erie of the AHL.
The team said that Willsie would be available for Colorado's game at home against the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday night.
Willsie has scored six points in nine games for the Monsters this season. The team's 31-year-old captain is tied for second in goals and ranks third in points.
He had four points in 42 games for the Avalanche last season.
