Toronto Maple Leafs rearguard Luke Schenn did not look out of place in his rookie campaign in the NHL.
While there is a learning curve for all first-year players, Schenn was able to develop his skills and get better as the season progressed.
And while many youngsters suffer a let down in their second year in the league, the Leafs have brought in some much-needed defensive support to help Schenn avoid the sophomore jinx.
Ken Campbell takes a look at Schenn’s frame of mind headed into 2009-10 season.
