When the Ottawa Senators drafted Erik Karlsson with the 15th overall pick in 2008, he was viewed as a major part of the team's defensive future.
Following a breakout season with Frölunda of the Swedish Elite League the future is now for Karlsson.
As the rookie tournament wrapped up in Kitchener, Ont., Karlsson is poised to make his mark on this side of the Atlantic.
