The Canadian Interuniversity Sport – the Great White North’s NCAA equivalent – is home to some great jerseys and will always hold a special place in my heart as I covered the University of Western Ontario Mustangs men’s and women’s teams throughout my days at the school.

Unfortunately, we weren’t able to pull together all the photos from the schools across the country, so we couldn’t include them in our summer Jersey Rankings and Tournament. We were, however, able to secure the sweaters from the Atlantic University Sport conference, so I figured it’d be a nice nod to the boys out east to rank their jerseys.

LOGO
TEAM
THE SCOOP
1

St. Francis Xavier
X-Men

Simplicity of the color scheme and the logo make it a winner, plus the 'X' is formidable
2
Dalhousie
Tigers
Tigers are a dime a dozen in college sports, but this one works with the school/team name framing
3
Acadia
Axemen
The simplicity really works and the icing on the cake are the small axes buried within the top of the 'A' logo
4
Saint Mary's
Huskies
Not often inspired by baseball-style lettering, the Huskies pull it off. Colors and shoulder patch are top notch, too
5
Moncton
Aigles Bleus
Yellow on white is often a tough sell, but a good logo and solid striping makes up for any loss on the contrast front
6
New Brunswick
Varsity Reds
Laces are always a nice touch, but I'm not feeling the logo or the use of the abbreviated "V-Reds"
7
St. Thomas
Tommies
The laces – and a woeful UPEI entry – are the only thing saving this bland Rangers-inspired Tommies jersey from last place
8

Prince Edward Island
Panthers
