Is there something I'm missing here?
Jim Balsillie is throwing money at the NHL and they are telling him to get lost? Is it because he's Canadian? Because he's not a hockey guy? Because Gary Bettman doesn't want to expand back into Canada?
Sounds like collusion to me.
Mr. Balsillie isn't going to go broke anytime soon, so what's wrong with his money? There's something here that's not quite right and I don't think a lawsuit against the NHL is out of the question.
