Chicago's Patrick Kane cover boy of EA Sports 2010 video game

TORONTO - Chicago winger Patrick Kane is the new cover boy of EA Sports made-in-Vancouver NHL 2010 video game.

Kane follows in the footsteps of Calgary defenceman Dion Phaneuf, who was on the 2009 cover. EA has also signed top draft prospect John Tavares to promote the game.

Alex Ovechkin is on the cover of the rival 2K Sports game.

The EA game is due out in September.
