Ducks closer to Cup than they appear

Many people figure that after a supposed "disappointing" playoff exit from the Anaheim Ducks, GM Bob Murray should blow up his team in an effort to rebuild.

Fact is, the Ducks beat out the Presidents’ Trophy-winning San Jose Sharks and pushed the defending champs to a Game 7 decided by one goal.

Anaheim has all of the right pieces - it just needs a tinker or two.

My idea: Trade the negotiating rights of Scott Neidermayer to Calgary or Vancouver for Rene Bourque or Mason Raymond.
