Make goalies fair game

Over the past couple of hockey games, my father and I have come up with an idea.

It seems like everyone is talking about making it harder to get the puck out of the defensive zone because the goalies are getting so good at playing the puck.

The NHL should eliminate the trapezoid so the goalies can play the puck wherever they want to, but if they do, they can get hit like any other player.

After all they have the most protection and it would be fun to see which goalies are risk-takers and who will wander to the corner.
