WINNIPEG - Cory Schneider made 29 saves and Jason Krog had a goal and an assist as the Manitoba Moose shut out the Providence Bruins 2-0 on Saturday night in AHL action.
Michael Grabner also scored for Manitoba (43-17-0-5) while Schneider collected his fifth shutout this season.
Krog wired the puck over Bruins goalie Kevin Regan to open the scoring in the final minutes of the second period.
The Moose extended their lead when Grabner netted the rebound off of Guillaume Desbiens' initial shot to put the Moose up 2-0 in the early half of the third.
Regan made 27 saves for Providence (35-23-2-4).
